7.A log cabin of 230 sq.m  with 6 rooms.

9.In the middle of the  xmas tree area, another 110 sq.m 3 room log cabin.

11.Another house by Sølvig farm: 5 room 107 sq m red stone.

In the same issue Trine Villemann writes an article :
Kommentar: Joachim i dilemma

Villemann talks about Alex taking off with ½ of Jokke´s appanage when they divorced, therefore now that Jokke is marrying wife no.2,there are negotiations to íncrease his pay.She asks whether is fair that he recieves more tax payer money when it is clear that he has more property than we all knew.Unless Alex voluntarily gives up the cash,Jokke has a serious dilemma.Should he force Alex to give up the the 2 mill and risk that she will begin to reveal family secrest about the royal marriage? or  take the chance and expect more money despite the fact that such a raise might be difficult to sell to the taxpyers who before had no understanding of  why,the divorce was called a private matter by the court, they ended up the tab?The question is whether there are brave politicians that will from now on demand that the wealthy prince rather than the taxpayer finances Alex´s first class life.

Trine Villeman really has an agenda towards Alex - I wonder what's behind it Huh? She goes on and on about Alex getting so much money and not doing anything - she conveniently forgets that Alex now pays at least half in of the money in tax Roll Eyes

Trine does seem to have an ax to grind about Alexandra, doesn't she? And she can deny it until she's blue in the face, but I really believe that she perceives Alexandra as truly un-DANISH!!  Crazy

True, Alex wasn't born Danish, but she worked hard and embraced the country, yet she treats Mary with gentle kid gloves for the most part. Maybe it is a race issue, who knows.

I think she has denied the race issue. But somehow I doubt it. No racist like to be called racist  Whistle

I think it's simply the fact that one's a royal, the other is not anymore.

Trine's last post from her blog
http://www.1015copenhagenk.com/

Get a job Alexandra!

Countess Alexandra has announced that she will be casting her ballot in Denmark’s general election on November 13.  When Alexandra married cameraman Martin Joergensen earlier this year, she lost the title of Princess, but gained the right to vote in Denmark.
But shouldn’t Alexandra waive that particular privilege? Is it not contradictory or even hypocritical to claim the right to vote as a common Danish citizen while, at the same time, living on a royal allowance paid for by the Danish taxpayers?
The Palace always insisted that the divorce between Queen Margrethe’s youngest son, Prince Joachim, and the Hong Kong born businesswoman Alexandra Manley was a private matter. But the Danes ended up with the bill for that divorce. These days, a majority of Danes feel that Alexandra should pay her own way and should stop being supported by people burdened with the highest tax rates in the world.  It is becoming increasingly difficult to justify the 2 million Danish kroner that Alexandra receives annually – especially as the world-renowned Danish healthcare system is cracking up, leaving cancer patients to die because of lack of treatment.
In her time at Amalienborg Palace, Alexandra Manley was a super princess. She took to the title and life style like a duck to water. She adored the attention and she used it wisely. As her marriage to Joachim was disintegrating, she became more and more popular. The Danes loved the smart, petite, Danish-speaking Alexandra, but inside the palace walls, she endured an unhappy existence.
When the chance for freedom arrived she grabbed it with both hands. But in doing so she made many enemies amongst the men in grey suits at the palace.
An opportunity to create a real job for Alexandra was lost.  With her background in investment banking, combined with her talent and energy, she could have become a fabulous ambassador for Denmark, travelling the world – especially the Far East, which she knows so well - drumming up business for Danish companies. In other words, she could have earned the money that she now receives for performing very few royal duties. Instead that financial burden was passed on to the Danish tax payers.
Alexandra wants to be a player. Although she has been frozen out by the palace  – she has not participated in one single royal event with the rest of the family since she remarried - Alexandra will never allow herself to be counted out.  Hence this week’s sudden interview in the newspaper “Kristeligt Dagblad,”  (Christian Daily). She talks about her faith and how she ends every day in prayer with her two boys, Nikolaj and Felix. The boys are currently numbers five and six in line to the Danish throne. But following Joachim’s engagement to French Marie Cavallier, and the inevitable prospect of more royal offspring in the coming years, Alexandra needs to establish herself as being still in the game.  A friendly interview about how the little princes are being brought up with the Christian faith as part of their daily diet, is her subtle way of reminding the Lutheran Danes that she is providing value for their  tax kroner as she is busy bringing up two heirs to the throne.
It is unbecoming that Alexandra is still clinging to her royal allowance. She would do the Danish monarchy an enormous favour by voluntarily giving it up. More importantly, she would earn massive respect from the Danes. Alexandra can easily find a well-paid job. It would free her from the constraints that accompany her royal allowance. For example, even though she can vote, royal convention prevents her from publicly expressing an opinion. In addition, she would be able to go and make the kind of money she really craves. Financial security is a big issue for the former princess.  But she does not seem to understand that she probably would be far better off financially, if she had the guts to let the Danish taxpayers off the hook and made her own fortune!

I wonder why her first post about Mary is missing?  Thinking

Trine makes excellent points.  I wondered why Alexandra hasn't gotten a lucrative job yet.  Can someone explain to me why she got a divorce?  Personally, Martin was not worth giving up being royal.

Neither Alexandra or Joachim have given their reason for the split.  At the beginning, initial reports had Joachim being the guilty party with his nights out at the clubs, drinking and carousing.  Later on when Martin came into the picture, some said she got the wandering eye and had an affair with him.

Is this a real job or is it the company where she's just a member of the board of directors?  That's the only "job" I've heard about for Alex, but I might have missed something.

...Can someone explain to me why she got a divorce?  Personally, Martin was not worth giving up being royal.

Especially if, as some have said, they were involved in an affair while she was still married to Jokke.  Seems to me that would be the perfect solution...to have your cake and eat it too.  (And Martin certainly looks like a tasty morsel to this observer.)  But others have said that Jokke wasn't the easiest person in the world to live with and spent a lot of time gallivanting around with other women.  If true, maybe that's what sent Alex into Martin's arms on a permanent basis.  Oh there are LOTS of possibilities for juicy stories in that relationship.  Too bad we'll never know the truth!
