Those photos are from the recent visit to Tasmania. Fred disappeared on several occasions with Mary's brother John. In the photo I think you are referring to they went down to the Hobart docks/marina and met up with some of John's friends. Someone said these were his friends from high school. A pretty unimpressive bunch. What Fred and John were really doing done at the docks is not known. But in many cities around the world, docks are notorious places for doing drug deals.
Also, when Fred and John were cavorting around town they were driving a pretty shoddy car (looked like an old early '90s sedan) that had a 'for sale' sign in the window. The family must have borrowed it from Mary's old boyfriend (the used car dealer)... in exchange for what I don't know...perhaps he just asked for a small baggie of the white stuff? Although one would think it has taken more than a small baggie for this ex-boyfriend to not spill the beans about Mary's 'taste in cars' ?
