I have read that she was a driver for the army and was serving in Kosovo.  They met when Louis visited their (base? troop? camp?).  Anyway, they've been together ever since then.  I don't know how long they dated before Gabriel was conceived (or if they dated at all).  She seems like a fairly laid-back person.  Her dad was a tiler, and it sounds like she had fairly humble beginnings.

Tessy's father was a member of the republican movement in Luxembourg.
Wonder how he feels about his daughter humiliating him?

Tessy really had no choice education wise but to join the army (not due to a real humane, genuine desire to do so )
as she attended a technical high school she wasn't good enough/cut out (based on merit) for university.

She had no connections or even a real desire to get a job, and earn an indepedent living, not much of a real future UNTIL SHE GOT PREGNANT WITH HER MEALTICKET GABRIEL  

She certianly loves the high life without having TO LIFT A SINGLE FINGER - MT's distorted acceptance of her (wannabe) daughter in laws, unlimited supply of $$$$$$$ from pa Henri and ma MT, and sugar press (a Lux reporter was jailed for writing negative comments about GD Henri and his kids TALK ABOUT CENSORSHIP  )

The fact that Louis and Tessy are in America no doubt living off pa GD Henri and MT $$$, confirms the notion
that Tessy is furthering her education in America (through the back door??   George W Bush anyone  )

Guillaume will probably end up following grandpapa (the former GD) Jean, and marry her, get bored, then have a string of (decret) affairs   (judging by precedent - a Pia Haraldsen type)





That girl certianly messed him up during his studies at Durham, with all the intro to the ciggies, wild life etc, until MT and Henri intervened and wanted him to pull out and start a fresh at a new uni (Brunel Uni).





Tessy will sooner or later realise her fate (shes had it too good lately - Princess Title, 2 Royal Meal Tickets, connection/access to $$$$ clothes, and trying to make up for it by dressing up as someone twice her age),
as soon as Louis gets bored with the quiet, responsible domestic life.




She certainly loves her royal life, the clothes, the hair stylitsts, the gala events, being set up for life - Reminds me of Mares, the Luxembourg equivalent of a Bogan   .


Louis's midlife crisis will come on realising that he never got the chance to sow his wild oats, and will follow Uncle Jean and divorce Tessy, and marry a minor aristocrat.

Tessy being a daughter of a republican tiler, attending a technical high school, so in fact in the educational stakes Tessy hit it big by getting herself preggers because apprantly shes now in America attending a univeristy or something like that, that she could never achieve academically (based on merit by) herself back home.

Apparently Tessy's father was the head of a republican political group or something, would be very awkward for the Left to have as one of its head the grandfather of the grandchildren of GD Henri.
Probably has steped down, fired, by now.

Where are these princes finding these girls so totally unsuited for their worlds??  I certainly don't take the view that a prince should have to marry a princess or even an aristo, but surely there are better girls than those who must trap a man to live off his money?  Let's see, Mary, MM, this Tessie girl... Mathilde, Max, Marie, and Leti are quite good, but even Max and Leti had their own baggage...

Are these men rebelling aginst their families?  Are these the only girls who are "up to the job"?  How do they even meet these girls??  Europe's royal houses are falling...  Who would want to bow and scrape to a girl who got knocked up just to bag her prince?

Why are they in America?  Did they go just so Tessy could go to school?  I think its good that shes going to school but on the other hand, I hope that it isn't at the Lux taxpayer's expense.  It seems kind of strange that she would snag a prince.  She seems like the opposite of the typical princess wanna-be.  She didnt have the typical education or family background.  She drove cars in the army.  Her family was really anti-monarch.  Its nice that the rf have accepted her but Im sure the relationship was a big shock to them.  What is she studying in the US?
