This week in Her og nu - on the cover: Alexandra bitter - jealous of Marie. Now - it's of course entirely possible that Alex is envious of Marie (I would guess she would/could be jealous of the attention Marie is getting) but the article inside is plain stupid. They speculate - and it's only speculation, there's not a single bit of actual fact in the story - that Alex is bitter and jealous because Marie had a baby and that Alex hasn't managed to have a baby for Martin. Alex should think herself lucky that she got herself two kids with Joachim before they got divorced and that Martin loves them. But they wonder if she's not worried about Martin leaving her when he turns 40 (and Nikolaj and Felix are grown up) in order to have his own children while he can. Never mind that Martin already has one child that he's not interested in..  |

I'm sure Alex is thanking her lucky stars that she's done with the princess gig and distanced from the dysfunctional DRF. She has a sweet deal - alimony from the state, a fine house, 2 kids, and freedom from the restrictions of royal life. Alex was an independent career woman before her marriage to Joachim. The novelty of princess life must've worn off early on. And being a city girl, she must've been bored out of her mind at Shackenborg. I would be. |
