ANDREW DENTON: Yes. What did... When you first met, what did you see in each other? CROWN PRINCE FREDERIK: What did we see in each other? We saw... Well, it's a bit hard. It's a bit blurry, in a way, because it was just after the Olympics had started and it was one of those evenings where...

Howz about the metaphorical LYRICS! How sly! I bet Joachim organised this specially!
"rolling on the river" .... mwa ha ha!
"People on the river are happy to give" ...
Y know, every now and then I think you might like to hear something from us Nice and easy But theres just one thing You see we never ever do nothing Nice and easy We always do it nice and rough So were gonna take the beginning of this song And do it easy Then were gonna do the finish rough This is the way we do proud mary
And were rolling, rolling, rolling on the river Listen to the story
I left a good job in the city Working for the man every night and day And I never lost one minute of sleeping Worrying bout the way things might have been
Big wheel keep on turning Proud mary keep on burning And were rolling, rolling Rolling on the river
Cleaned a lot of plates in memphis Pumped a lot of tane down in new orleans But I never saw the good side of the city Till I hitched a ride on a riverboat queen
Big wheel keep on turning Proud mary keep on burning And were rolling, rolling Rolling on the river
If you come down to the river I bet you gonna find some people who live You dont have to worry if you got no money People on the river are happy to give

I like Jocky too - he should have been cast in risky business instead of tom cruise. I liked him in the engagement press conference with marie which i found during my youtubing yesterday - not as drippy as his brother. ANd marie seemed less concerned with being the perfect princess too. I especially love amber's comments on why she likes mary so much - she is so "natural" and even in ten years she will still be the same person".

First a big thank-you for the links, they were all fun to watch (again and again, even though I can't watch the Marymentary more than three minutes at a time - experience such a strangely dizzy and emptyheaded experience, I don't know... ) BUT the "Welcome Mary" clip was a nice gem... Found the lyrics equally telling, Hester.... And hey, what did Jokke put into his coffee that morning? Come on he was not the happy bridegroom, he was the brother. But he was dancing it off like there was no tomorrow. Poor Alex was putting on a very brave fassade, you could tell. She was desperately trying to act as if she was perfectly in sync with her now soon-to-be-ex. Here is a thought: did Jokke got his permission to divorce in his morning coffee? That should do the trick. Explain why he was almost high and she was on the brink of vomitting on his blue suedes... Mary was a bit ..."shy", lets use her own explanation.. shy... And wasn't proud Freddles not the loving groom? Seriously the cameras on Mary, Sanne blabbbing about how sweet and beautiful and intelligent and strong our Mary is and what? Nothing, no hug, no quick kiss, no squezzing of the hand, nothing. Too bad whatever jokke had in his drink, he should have shared with his bro, seems like Fred could have used some...

Yep. I think Jokey must have gotten hid divorce OK'd that morning as he seems ecstatic. The countess on the olther hand appears very nervous tha Jokey might do "something Outrageous" in public......

The only one who let his hair down was Joakkie. The rest look uptight. He has earned my respect. Never saw these clips before.

Even more respect for both Jokke and Alex after watching this video. My God, what did they have to go through before they got their divorce (and an Oscar for both of them and I don't mean the dog...).

Puha, Dutchess, that's your 666th post - guess you'll be turning into Mary soon Okay that wasn't nice to say about dear Mary, but I couldn't resist making the analogy between the sign of the beast...and the beast of the Danish media.

Amber is much better speaker on camera than Mary is even today. Amber for all of her faults, which we all ofcourse have, seems like a more natural and down to earth person than Mary. Mary is so rigid and tense this entire documentary.
