I love "early Diana" best. When she was young, sweet, innocent. I loved her little princessy hats and flowy princessy dresses.

I liked the way she looked in most of the Catherine Walker dresses; I think my favourite dress of hers, which wasn't a Walker one, was the romantic-looking pastel one she was wearing for an evening engagement around the time her pregnancy with William was announced. That would be the last one in this post: http://www.theroyalforums...gwear-5542.html#post43347

I like the 90s look the best. From the list - the blue & white floral, the black Christina Stambolian she wore going the the gallery, and the last photo, the Catherine Walked beaded dress and Jimmy Choo shoes. I also like her her softer hair style in the the 90s.

I wish I could but alas, no cameras allowed. But then again that didn't stop us in certain parts of London buildings where no cameras were allowed! I just wish I could find someone to go with me...somehow to them looking at a dead woman's clothes is not their idea of fun!

Wow....even though I'm a big Diana fan I wouldn't take it so far. Actually I dislike her 90s look - especially her hair. I love the early years with fairytale dresses and that special innocent look she had then. One of my favorite outfits is actually her blue engagement suit. She was criticized a lot for it but I think she looked fab.

My favorite dress of hers was one she wore when it was first announced she was pregnant with William. Anyway, it's a picture of her half asleep in an off the shoulder pastel gown. I wouldn't say it's the best gown she ever wore but I think it made her look like a fairy tale princess and not just a woman with enough money and taste to dress herself smartly.

The photo shoot by Mario Testino in Bazar (? or Vogue Ms. Wintour) Diana was the real thing. She was the so young and innocent, the paragon of a lovely mother, guiding her Princes in their sense of compassion and duty. The tragedy of her life is the stuff of high drama; archetypical. No one today can touch her.

I loved her look around 1985, when she and Charles went to Italy. So pretty and fresh. I loved the early years, too.

Oh ITA with you Badger...that one is my favorite too. And you're right, it wasn't her best, but it sure was princessy and it was made all the more charming because she did fall asleep at the gathering. We all had just found out that she was pregnant that same day, and I thought it cute because she was so tired due to the baby.

I also love the photo of her where she is wearing Queen Mary's pearl tiara, smiling broadly into the camera, and she has her arms across her knees. This is going to sound corny, but I really miss her, and I feel sad when I think about her. My Mum loved her, and when I think of Diana I think of my Mum. I'm crying now

I sometimes wonder what she would be like if she were alive today. I'm sure she'd be very active in her charities but would she be a pathetic plastic surgery victim or someone who aged gracefully with maybe a touchup here and there to freshen up her appearance.

Personally I think she looked her best around the time she died. She finally seemed comfortable in herself and more relaxed. Her Mario Testino shots were absolutely breathtaking.
