I think she is the princess with the most natural beauty. Just a pity she is sloppy all too often. At least she looks healthy of course.
Well if you consider wan, washed-out looking, slouchy, with thick ankles, thick waist and dumpy looking figure to be "natural beauty" - okay then!

Not really, but she can work on all those things. Some better make up, better posture, losing weight and better fitting clothes will do the trick. I meant the structure of her face.

I see your point Panos but I still disagree. IMO Mette has a very masculine/square shaped face, thin lips, and those strange bat-wing like brows that Michelle Obama also has. She's an okay looking girl but I don't consider her a beauty by any means.

Her Gucci sandals without stockings in the freezing winter looks more fashion forward than Leti's platforms.

The simple white dress looks nice ? Is it Prada or Valentino ?

I love those shoes  . I think Mette- Marit has a great shoe collection.  Its strange that Mary spends so much money on shoes. Yet, her shoes always look extremely ordinary.

Crown Princess Mette-Marit visited Hvalstad school in Asker Sunday afternoon. She came to take part in a"ski-day" for underage asylum seekers. The Crown Princess participated actively in activities as tobogganing, cross country and barbecuing of hot dogs on the campfire in the approximately 10 degrees centigrade below zero-temperature. The Crown Princess also showed herself as an able ski-instructor for the young people as well as showing definite signs of enjoying herself.

Thanks for the video link Larzen  Thumb up

She seems so much nicer and natural - "in her element" when talking to the young people there. She seems very approachable and sweet. I like her in this clip. Smiley

Appearances can be deceiving. I don't see her as sweet or warm in this video. And remember, she knew the cameras were there so of course, she's not going to be surly or stuck-up. However, a friend of mine saw her at a club in London (she was with Haakon and Nikolai of Greece) and she just said "Hi" to Mette-Marit. Mette just stared at her coldly and gave her a look that said, "Who are YOU to talk to ME?" Approachable my ass. I've also had a similar experience when I met her last year. That's what she's REALLY like when there are no cameras around. I've NEVER liked her - that stuck-up fraud!  Of all the CPs, she has the least to be stuck up about!

Yes I'm sure Zinzen. I've actually met her and spoken with her. Anyone else on this board who's met her?

anybody can say that they met so and so and that that person is nice/bitchy/whatever. doesn't mean that you did and/or that they are the way they are described. or that we are to take an impression at face value.  Smiley

So what are you saying Cara? That I didn't really meet her? Or that she's not how I described? FYI - not anybody can say that they met so and so! Some of us have, and some of us obviously have not. I would take it that you're in the latter camp?

For die-hard fans of Mette (of which you seem to be one), they're going to be blind to the truth even if there's 100 first-hand testimonies, and no matter what the evidence presented! As for "taking an impression at face value", well isn't that what people are doing by forming a conclusion that gee, Mette-Marit must be really nice and sweet - hey I just saw her in that video link! Rational people realize that people are more inclined to be showing their true selves when there isn't a camera around than when they know they are being filmed!
