Norway and Netherland were normally doing very well in the previous winter Olympics. Does Denmark have any chance of winning a medal ?
It will be so tiring of watching Olympics games, afterwards, they probably need another holiday in Miami LOL

Yes - they have! They have some great Curling teams !!!

I wonder if they children are coming along with them?

Of course not. Izzy is ill! She has to stay in Denmark.  Wink

I'm not defending Fred and Mary here, but it could be that Izzy has something completely innocent as chickenpocks or the so called 5th or 6th disease (at least that's what it's called in Holland). Yes, they run a bit of a fever and yes, they might cry a little, but nothing serious and children certainly don't have to stay in bed. Or do we have very cruel doctors in Holland ??

No - of course not! ITA with you! It is okay to take you child with you to your winterholidays, even if it is ill (flu or a cold or something like this - something completely innocent)... But it is not okay to take your child to a photocall if it is ill... That's the point about Fred and Mary in this case...

Its okay to take them on holidays but if they have something that is contagious it is NOT okay to put them on an airplane with others.  Did they fly commercially?  They did on their last visit to Switzerland.  I'm sure the other passengers on the plane weren't too happy about being exposed to something that could be contagious.  If she's burning a fever, that is usually a sign that whatever she has is contagious.

Gawd, F&M are such parasites.
Denmark supports F&M with bag loads of kroners that they just spent in Switzerland!
F&M support Denmark by spending bag loads of kroners in Canada!

Go Switzerland and Canada!!   Thumb up

Denmark is the first country to create a cross-border stimulus package. Unwittingly financed by the Danish Taxpayer, powered by the slurping ways of the DRF.

Mary Who?

Thanks for the info!

It's interesting to see that in the next fortnight Mary has just 2 events; the same as Marie. Joachim has 3.

Plus if Mary goes to Miami with Fred then it will be her third vacation in less than 2 months.  She has already been to Vancouver and Verbier....

No Little_star you forgot....Vancouver was work. She worked her butt off to secure Denmark medals - but failed miserably
