If the DRF could survive a CP divorce ... do you think with the right woman, Freddles the Clown could be redeemed? And what would be the right characteristics for a new wife for Mr. Denmark .. other than a really big purse to hide the rattles, pacifiers and sucking blanket for her Freddles?  |

Well we already know he has a thing for brunettes. I think that he would need for her to prove that she wouldn't become a completely different person once they got married. He has already learned a painful lesson from Mary. I also think that she needs to actually like children. Fred seems to like children and we all know how Mary acts around her kids. She needs to be able to have a good time (but not too good a time) and be able to have a beer and relax with Fred. |

YES with the right wife Fredrik could actually preform his duties -- and would do NO HARM to his country..............but that is NOT going to happen----the Icon will NEVER ever leave------------and Christian will be next (God Bless Denmark)----------------but think of all the grief Christian is going to give his PERFECT parents.........years and years to keep this forum up and running full steam..............Thank you Marie & Thomas....years of this just might give you nightmares. And Joachim,Marie,Henrik & Nikolai & Felix will go on their merry way and probably have an interesting & loving life (I hope)---and meet up with the Icon on All Things a couple of times a year (and thank their blessings after each meeting) |

When Fred "chose" Mares, didnt the Government have to approve ?......surely it should have been put to the people too.....
Also, I wonder , in Denamrk, would there be as much as a fuss about the heir marrying a divorcee as there was in UK

I think that if Fred was married to a woman who didn't re-enforce his sense of self entitlement and actually made him appreciate how good he has got it then he might make a good Prince/King. Unfortunately Mary seems to bring out the worst in him and is so busy making sure that everyone knows how entitled she is to everything shes got that she doesn't seem to spend any time thinking about what Fred might want/need from the commoner he married.

But then again, it's not like there ever was such a thing as a "crown prince election". But sometimes I do think it would be better if their jobs were voluntary work. Then we'd have passionate people being royals instead of people like Frederik and Mary. |

well said both harley and divinemiss  couldn't agree more on the sense of entitlement freddles just oozes, that boy (which is all he really is) needs to grow up and start realising that with position comes responsibility. |

You know I've been thinking about Floppy Frodo being in need of a good woman (or two or three...)...and it kinda made me think that how much more is he going to keep borrowing other people's spines? I mean if its not Daisy's he'd borrowed, then he's ' longing' for katja's and he needs to give MEdiana's back (who knows why...she doesn't need it!)... When are they going to find him a spare spine...his very own spine, huh? G  |
