I don't really know what to call the subject but in a new book about Queen Ingrid, Frederik says he fell in love with Mary right away after meeting her and when he went home to Denmark to see Ingrid - this is when she died - he already knew that he was going to "make her his queen". This is AFIIK a new version on how their relationship evolved. Also he makes himself out to being a real cad - as he was dating Betina at the time and continued to do so for a few months. Real nice to her AND Mary, eh  It seems to me they're trying to create the fairy tale of Frederik and Mary  How lame. And it's a funny timing too - and interesting that it's Fred this time. Cover up of some sorts  |

A couple who are genuinely in love don't need to be constantly reminding people that they're in love, that it was love at first sight etc.. Who do these people think they are kidding??

Right... he knew Mary would be his Queen but he kept stringing Bettina along. Real classy guy. Hopefully no one does that to his daughter when she gets older.
If they are so in love, they'd also look like it. They don't need to be over the top in public, or at their events. Just even looking like a team at an engagement would be a start. They often look like they don't know one another when they are out together for engagements.

I assume it is part of Fred's morning Mantra: "I love Mary..I love Mary..I love Mary... I fell in love with Mary at first sight... She would be my queen or nobody... she deserves my Amex...I love Mary" which he has to perform fifteen time in order to get breakfast (his happy pills...)
Repeat after me, Fred... now that's my boy, good job, now I will give your meds...

Also after Trine said Katja helped Fred on his speeches, Fred said (probably was forced to say) in one of his interviews not long ago that Mary did the same  . Perhaps Mary does try now, no wonder he is getting worse and worse  . |

...that's really odd thing to say, after he issued his own press release saying that he wasn't marrying MEdiana but someone sometime in the future...Or repling who MEdaina was, she is next to me Yeup....sounds like a divorce averted for a greater reason they are NOT telling us about  G |

Seems DRF/RFcourt desperately tries to save the clown couple image, unfortunately what they did only make me think even more that there's something wrong with the clown couple relationship . |

Can anyone tell me if other European royal (esp. CP) couples are in the media on a semi-regular basis reminding us of how in love they are? Or do they rely on their daily actions/body language/interactions with their partner to tell us? I am not talking about comments they may make leading up to a wedding anniversary milestone/shortly after the birth of a child etc., it is natural to say such things at these times, but wht do these 2 feel the need to make comments/have an interview/hold a photoshoot several times a year?

If that's true, how incredibly immature is that? It's the sort of response I'd expect from a teenage boy, not a grown man - and not one brought up with certain expectations and responsibilites...
He sounds like a guy who honestly thinks he has made a HUGE MISTAKE, but is trying very hard not to admit it to himself.
It seems pretty obvious that if he keeps telling himself, and anyone who'll listen, how in love with her he is, it makes him feel better about the fact that he's not.

So he said "I found my Queen" to his Grandma? but then he still dated Bettina for months before she left him when she found out he was cheating on her with Mary ? Gimme a break!  Their PR people are really pathetic nowadays. |
