For some reason when I look at that photo it looks like he would smell like chicken grease and Old Spice.
But he's a royal so I guess it's okay.

Yep even for balding, pot belly, ho-men like Albert.  But you know, there's more to Gui than his physical appearance. He's actually an intelligent, hard-working royal, who doesn't let life dramas get in the way of his duties, unlike a certain other William. |

I ignored Guillaume and the Lux royals for years until Jonathan posted that youtube video (which the weirdlings have since taken down) of Gui dissing Mary. I just loved how animated, sociable, and professional he was and how distinct he seemed from Prince William. My research on him has confirmed my initial observations. Thanks Jonathan!  |

Thanks Jonathan! somebody that disses a woman, be it mary, is not sociable or professional. maybe he's just uncomfortable with women in general. there was a CP (i think it was maxima) that tried to talk with him at victoria's wedding and all she got was a blushing guy. |

Do you mean Mette Marit? She was his wedding dinner partner. I did find it a bit odd how shy he was towards her at first. But he warmed to her later. He gets on very well with Victoria though. They've known each other for a long time. But very interesting point and something to ponder over. Thanks Cara!  |

I think Fred dissed Mary by distracting Guillaume instead of waiting for him to greet Mary. You can compare Fred's behavior to that of the King of Sweden's where he allowed his wife to be greeted first. I've heard Gui is very shy. |
