Maria, have you or your Mummy heard is Froppy Froddo is seeing someone NOW? Or if he has cheated on MEdiana during all their happy 6 years of marriage?? tak G PSS: I 've heard both these things...and wanted to know if the person telling me was on the right scent...she wouldn't reveal other than to say its true My mother has only heard the thing about Maria because she apparently knew her mother a long time ago (and the thing about Nikolaj becasue she worked on the hospital whe he was born. Someone must have leaked confidential information because I've heard the same thing from many different places I have personally heard from a friend who told me about a friend of a friend (I know, I know - but isn't that how rumours go?) who slept with Frederik right before the engament. I personally think it's very plausable that he will cheat at some point, if he hasn't already. He cheated on Betina after all - and had no problems hooking up with Maria while she was still with her former boyfriend. I think he's morals on that are quite relaxed..

ANDREW DENTON: Yes. What did... When you first met, what did you see in each other? CROWN PRINCE FREDERIK: What did we see in each other? We saw... Well, it's a bit hard. It's a bit blurry, in a way, because it was just after the Olympics had started and it was one of those evenings where...

You're welcome I think one of the reasons one can sit and almost hope for scandals is that they are being painted as the perfect family with perfect lives - even when they are some obviously totally normal

Geta and Maria, what you are writing also fits with what I've heard. An acquaintance claims to know for a fact that Fred has cheated post-wedding, because this person claims to know the object of Fred's affection quite well. I have asked for details several times and been refused and then finally got a door slammed shut on the topic (figuratively speaking), which makes me inclined to believe it even more. To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised at all if it were true and as Maria says, it's just before I almost wish it to be true and to come out, if no other reason that to give a counter-balance to all the sugary-sweet PR blitz(krieg) by the DRF. We need some insulin to get our blood sugar levels back where they should be.

Wow, this is all so interesting...do we know if these friends have acknowledged that the person(s) Froddo has cheated with are male or female??? I know there's been the vibe about the Dame and Jokke, but with a strong mother influence, does it pertain to Frederik??? And for the record, I've never thought that before, but you could wonder I guess.

My connection has mentioned "the girl" - when he was willing to talk about it, which he is not anymore. Silenced by the grey suits, I guess. Or "the girl" herself. Or both???
Regarding homosexuality, I've never heard any rumour about Fred swinging that way, but I did meet a girl who had been a stripper in New York and Fred came into the club where she worked. She was half Danish-half American and could speak Danish, so she addressed him in Danish and they chatted. According to her, he invited her to his hotel room for later that night, but she never went in the end. Mind you, this was many years ago, before Mary came on the scene and Fred was also single at the time, if you even believe that it did happen like she claimed. Although, I don't know why she would make something like that up.

And I've heard that he has cheated on Mary before they got engaged.
Yes Maria, you are right. Frederik cheated on Mary before they were engaged and after. When he was in Stockholm (or other parts of Sweden) he acted like a bachelor. And after he married, he allways removed his (wedding)ring when he was at a party. And then he "lost" the ring while he was diving. Does anybody belives they will stay married for ten years ?

Oh yes, the wedding ring he lost when he was "diving" I think they will remain married actually. I doubt Mary will want to walk away from her lifestyle and position, no matter what she's said earlier. She's not Denmark's Diana. If they split people would side with Frederik IMO and she'd be stuck here because of the children - and a new crown princess would take her place no doubt.

True, true, Mary will NEVER leave Amalienborg, but perhaps Frederik will walk away. I wonder if he will stays with her. He allready looks irritated and travels as often as possible without Mary. A happy marriage indeed. It's hard to belive that Mary isn't aware of Fred's cheating and it is harder to belive that she accepts it.

It does sound quite nice though. It feels horrible to feel nice about the possibility of a divorce, though, but the idea of Meary being dumped and someone worthy taking her place just sounds so... I'm not sure, though, that I agree with you that people would side with Frederik - remember Joachim and Alex. Sadly, the Icon has managed to remain popular so I think we would get the ugly version of the Joachim/Alex divorce. I'm sure it would be worth it, though. Ok, this is slightly off topic (sorry) but IF F&M would divorce, where would the kids then live? With Frederik at the castle or with Mary somewhere in Dk?

Ok, this is slightly off topic (sorry) but IF F&M would divorce, where would the kids then live? With Frederik at the castle or with Mary somewhere in Dk? Alex was consistantly the most popular between her and Joachim - I don't think the same can be said about Mary and Frederik. People like her because of Frederik (seemingly) being happy because of her. So if they split, I think people will keep liking Fred and blame Mary unless Fred does something really mean to her. I think the kids would stay 50/50 with them - as they grew older probably more with Fred, because they'd be in line for the throne. In the post-nup (still love that they made one ) they made sure that Fred shouldn't give her a house in case of divorce so I think she'd be given a castly to live in somewhere - probably near Copenhagen. Perhaps Sorgenfri Castle: http://kongehuset.dk/publ...h.php?dogtag=k_en_pal_sor

I think that the Chuck and Di debacle scared the bejeeyas out of most RFs who are trying to avoid divorces in their CP couples at all costs. But I reckon if Fred meets someone he loves then he'll go for a divorce. Life with Mary looks to be a living hell for him as it is, could you imagine how bad it'd be if he loved someone else and still had to put up with Mary and her antics??
