Yep, per the website he is regent. I guess he'll forever be the also-ran and good enough for some things, but not for the really important stuff. Yes God knows, he's compensated very nicely, but at some point these things might bother him.

The whole concept of Regent is so unnecessary in this day and age. It's not like someone is going to sweep in and claim the throne. Ladies, ITA it is ridiculous - but I think that the DRF think that it would give those pesky republicans a great whack of ammo if they were to demonstrate that the country could function without them - wouldn't want to give those rabble-rousers any ideas, now would they?  |

Another good point from Miss Holly  ...it's what I have always thought; it makes them seem like they're needed and important and not leaving their country "defenseless". What a waste, as if the good Danish citizens buy into that. |

Wish we had more updated news on this more INTERESTING Royal Family................the icon couple are really rather boring (that is UNTIL the wedding when they will aford us much amusement

Obviously they don't have many events, as they can't be allowed to be out and about while the Crown Prince couple is abroad. Wouldn't want to divert the press' attention to Marie... |

I meant to say that the royalists were louder than the repubs and that it allows the myth to perpetuate. I didn't mean to offend any of the republicans and I didn't mean to insinuate that the republicans allow the royalists to carry on with their nonsense.
