She told someone later that Charles was very upset about the dress Angry, and all over her like white on rice.  What a great way to treat a young fiancee and help her get started on the fight foot in the BRF.  If a man behaves that way during the campaign you can bet he's not going to improve after he's won the prize.

Unfortunately, their official engagement had been announced so I guess he thought he already had won the prize.  His entire deportment during the Diana years was one of an insecure and jealous man.
