I did go to the "lecture" with author Susanna Popova, "Vårt Bröllop" today at the Castle, it was really nice to get a bit of the "inside" and she signed the book, now I just wait for Dan and Vic to sign it. And Silvia!  Thumb up

How cool!

I still can't get over how great and warm the wedding was - especially compared to so many other royal weddings. And also a great comercial for Stockholm - I really want to go too

That's awesome, Victory.  I'm so jealous, and so sad that the book isn't being published in English.  That wedding was glorious.

But it´s getting a bit cold though...

Some more pic´s to cheer you up!

Vic looks like she just got out of bed to try (the all over hand made) wedding dress out.

One of the first ideas about the dress

Don't apologize!  I'm just grateful that you're sharing.  Star

The early sketch of the dress is nice, but much better suited for a gala gown.  I'm glad Par went back to the drawing board, because the finished product was fantastic.

Please let me know when it comes out in English. I'll definitely get a copy - maybe I'll just have to come to Stockholm again! For that and my fave Stockholm tea....

RO, glad to see you're back!  Banana here's a welcome home present for you  Star

The wedding book is printed in Swedish only, for some stupid reason. IMO they should have added a German and English translation to the text, it's usually done for tourists. But not this time  No
Some posters have already ordered despite that I think, but don't worry, RD;s team Sweden is always ready to help you guys with translating

Thanks Idun!  Hug  I was never banned but as I'm still on holiday in Italy, I won't be writing very often until I'm back mid-Oct. Thanks for all your great information and posts on the Swedish royal family- I've really enjoyed them!
