OMG, so funny! Actually, I think Maxima looks better in the dress, or I should say that Alexandra doesn't look as nice in the dress.

Sans dandruff. Still pimply for a man his age. I suppose it's a severe problem for him. Though I will say, Gui looks nice.

The dress looks better on Maxima. She at least as the height to carry it off.

Ouch...poor MT. The color is pretty but that's the only nice thing I can say about the way this dress looks on her.

Here's a video from National Day 2010 (it's about 15 minutes). Mostly of MT going through the preparations. Towards the end you can see the family at the gala (at 13:40ish). Let me know what you think of the dress from the video: http://tele.rtl.lu/waatle...eplay/v/20100628/0/21699/

Merci beaucoup, Charlotte. : Je dois dire que MT a une telle belle voix douce parlée. Qui le savait? Toutefois, je dois dire que je trouve Tessy d'être une femme très collante. (I'm saying this in French because I felt like it... sorry if my French grammar sucks.)

Je suis d'accord avec ce que vous dites. Je n'aime pas le sourire de Tessy. She looks fake. But yes, I've seen videos of MT previous to this one and she has natural grace and warmth. It's like she was born to be la Grande Duchesse.

Tessy ressemble à une date de bal à bas prix à sa robe Forever 21 et un diadème. Avez-vous des vidéos et plus de MT? Aussi pour vous.

Nice videos Charlotte (I owe you another in 24). I liked the Nat'l Day 2008 video. MT's silver suit looked nice but that purple thing with the floppy hat was a mess. Alexandra's pants thing was also really odd. It looked like those thick polyester elastic waist band "slacks" from JC Penney that are so popular with the 70+ crowd. Tessy's hair at that gala was . Did she do that herself? I hope that there wasn't a hairstylist involved in that mess.

Let me know what you think of the dress from the video: http://tele.rtl.lu/waatle...eplay/v/20100628/0/21699/I loved the video, thanks Charlotte! I find Maria Teresa to be a beautiful woman with such charm and elegance - who happens to be overweight. I love Maria Terese in the dark pants suit, actually she looks slimmer in the suit. I always loved the way that she dresses, especially her suits. She does suits really well, second only to Diana who had a superb collection of suits and was always appropriately and professionally stylish wearing them (not stuffy and frumpy like the other British royals). The palace is gorgeous. It was nice to see the ladies getting their hair done (yes, Tessy's hair was professional done - it looks like the stylist comes to the palace). I also thought Maria Teresa looked great in the purple gown. She's not trying to copy anyone, especially someone as young and superbly figured as Victoria. I think the Duchess selects styles and colors that are flattering to her stature and body build. Soft flowing fabrics look better on her. I think she pulled it off.
