Thanks PeDe!  TB-I owe you a star as soon as the time limit's up. Laurent looks like a younger and more European Manuel Noriega.  You're being way too nice, Pix. I was thinking more like Idi Amin. You're right MJ. I must've been feeling charitable today.  I like the black and white outfits too, but Claire's parade dress looks like a costume.  And we all know what look Laurent was going for. Thanks, Pix!  ZZ, I watched the Military parade on TV5 (the French channel in the US), and I enjoyed it. It was also funny to see Laurent just... sitting there looking... glum. It looked like he was also hungry...  Belgium looks like such a beautiful country, by the way. MJ you just made me think of that line in the Oscar-worthy film "Friday" where Chris Tucker gets set up on a blind date with the fat girl. He's trying to get rid of her and he says "I know you hungry" Chris- OMFnG....he does look like Nazi #2. Scary  Lurker- |

Oh ruffo, you get a for that hilarious comparison!!!!   That's exactly what she is looking like...WTF was she thinking?? I don't even think Laurentien or Mabel, or even Maxima on her worst day would try and pull this off, even though it's orange. |

Have yet to see Mattie, but June Allyson-Claire looks great. And though she looks glum ,she doesn't appear to suck her bitter lemon drops this time.
As to Laurent, well the dictator is spot on, but honestly he looks like he is dead. Are we sure he isn't dead and the sunglasses are hiding this? Have they by change wheeled him out after wards? And is she holding his hand, because it might fall off?

I recently met a woman in her mid thirties who was from Belgium and I asked her what she thought of the BRF... she said she liked the King and Queen, but hated Laurent. To quote her, "He's a disgusting pig! What shady and slimey man" She wasn't too thrilled about Mati or Philippe either. She believed that he won't last on the throne once Albert dies. |

I wonder if we can expect an divorce announcment before Xmas for Claire and Chubster,  he really is looking gross and unhealthy. Mati tries too hard I't too distracting like Leti's hair and shoes. BTW I hate the orange on her and her matching earrings just overkill. Plum |
