I think we all must realize that Icon Queen Mary is here to stay, she won !
Marie & Joachim and his three sons will just have to make do .............. we will see less and less of the family................and will be JUST about Mary and her family from here on in.................and she will probably be able to do anything she wants,,no one will be able or willing to stop the Icon

But if Fred steps down the next in line is Christian not Joachim, and I doubt that nowdays that if he resings it means that his heirs lose their succession rights. So imo unless there are some deaths Joachim cannot be a king.

If Derf steps down in the next couple of years it would then become about regency (Unless DK is completely different from UK). Jokke could act as regent for Christian until Chris hits the age of majority (18 in UK) or Chris could appoint another regent but there really isn't anyone else is there? So I think that would be the only way Jokke could be (kinda) King.

Boy would I love to be present if Marge ever does decide to give the throne to Joachim...the sight of Morey's face would be worth whatever I would have to do to fly to Copenhagen to view it. She would absolutely blow a gasket as we say in the US. After all her wheeling and dealing with her pregnancies, and putting up with whatever Froddo has dished out to her (she feels)...wow, not to get the ultimate prize would just be too, too much!!! And then SHE would have to curtsy to MARIE...wow.  |
