Willem-Alexander will attend the opening of the  First Youth Olympic Games in Singapore today. Prince Phillipe of Belgium will also be attending.

Let's see ... Wax, Frax, and Packs are all in Singapore at the same time.  The three muskateers.  Gonna' be a hot time on the new town tonight.  Hope the organisers have stocked extra beer, hard stuff, and ... sorry, I'm racking my brains and I can't think of anything naughty to stock for Philippe.

No, Freddles is going for the closing ceremony, WA for the opening, more than a week apart.

Well, if it is only for the opening I can understand. Not worth the jet-lag. And since the children are still at home (school starts about two weeks), I can understand Max wants to stay home with the kids.
