Her favourite companions are her own children - after husband Haakon (36), of course. Crown Princess Mette-Marit walked the red carpet with her daughter Ingrid Alexandra (6), when attenting the beach volleyball world tournament in her hometown Kristiansand. For the occasion she sported the look of white jeans and a light blue tunic. For protection against the blazing sun, Mette -Marit had brought a red baseball cap that she wore later in the stands.
While Mette-Marit enthusiastically applauded the athletes, it was a little loud in the stadium for the mini-princess's taste. Ingrid Alexandra was sitting on Mama's lap and covered her ears.

Caring mother? So MM wore a red cap (and sunglasses) for protection against the blazing sun and yet there's no such protection for her precious daughter? If Mary had done this with Izzy, we would have skewed her!  By the way, I can see Leti or Maxima "blending with the crowds" just as easily....... |

In that 2nd picture of PeDe's post, not in the gallery of pictures but the 2nd picture, the girl standing to the left of MM looks a lot like Ellyn Woods, Tiger Woods's ex-wife. Since she spends some time in Sweden, I wonder if she happened to come for this volleyball event.

You have a keen eye Joy!  It sure does look like Elin. Do I remember correctly that her mother was present as a guest at Vikkan's wedding? Or am I making that up?  (You'll need to wait a few more hrs for your  though  ) |
