Isn't it a time honoured tradition to take your child to school for their first day and then rush home and make another baby?

I think that is what MM has in mind! IA is my favourite of that generation - she seems to have such a strong sense of self.

Difficult to know if Harald accompanied Maud Angelica to her first day of school last year. No press coverage (Märtha and Ari prefers that for their children now), and the same will probably happen with the other grandchildren.

That's probably her true self. She must be good at something that attracted/attracts Haakon, it can't be her brain or her look   .

Oh come on, MM is (at least imo) a classic scandi beauty. She ages quite well actually, so does her hubby!
Really, I think MM is goodlooking.

MM has a nice facial structure,  a scandi beauty is not IMO, since overall she is plain and frumpy, and she already looks better than pre-Haakon days. There are better looking and more stylish young women all over the places in Oslo and Stockholm (I have never been to Denmark).

Okay it's finally official, I snapped  Secret

I know what happened - Mr. Haakon and Ms. Mette-Marit had a "quickie" (or whatever married adults do to entertain themselves) just before they dropped off my favorite Euro princess off to school! That's should explain Ms. Mette-Marit's behavior? Right?   Confused

Ingrid Alexandra looks very cute BTW.

It was her birthday.  I think she was informing him what she wanted for a birthday present.    Can't say I blame her.

Anyway, IA is such a cutie, and I also think it's great that King Harald and Mette-Marit's mother accompanied her to her first day of school.  Here's a nice video of her first day.  I love seeing her wave to her classmates and her and Mette-Marit singing the school song (I guess they learned it while Marius was a student).  But my favorite part of the video is Haakon at the end.  I'd love to know what that couple was thinking when he was introducing himself.

I need hardly draw attention to the contrast here, between the radiant and competent CP couple of Norway, and the self-inflicted sad life of Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, pimped "guest of honour" at a down-at-heel venue in Adelaide, carrying skeletal twin fetuses in inadequate amniotic fluid thanks to vain dieting, and arriving with a cigarette burn in the back of her harem pants.

it is for you: Star
I think MM must be really good in certain  things  Halo and this is why she is a crown princess today. Things like that happened in histories of many monarchies before. Icecream

I agree about Ingrid. She is very self confident and sociable, acting very mature for her age, she seems to already have strong personality.

Mathilde with her foundation just scares
my feeling about Maxima is changing all the time I like her and yet annoyed by her at the same time

I agree. I think Mette-Marit is very pretty. I find her to be the most classically beautiful out of all of the Crown Princesses, and the older she gets, the better she looks. Even the white blonde hair is working for her now.

More than just being in love, Mette-Marit and her husband seem to truly like one another as well.

I agree. I think she looks so much better now, but not only her looks: she seems calmer and happy with her life At the beginning she looked like an scared rabbit, so nervous and curtsying to everybody and their mother(even royals of her rank) as if she thought she was less important Real mad Maybe it's a NRF thing? I haven't seen any other princess curtsy to each other.
