I think that MM have really blossomed unlike the other cps (who gone sour ) with the exception of Victoria who is also blossoming
looking at ME and Letizia depresses me
Mathilde with her foundation just scares
my feeling about Maxima is changing all the time I like her and yet annoyed by her at the same time

I agree. I think she looks so much better now, but not only her looks: she seems calmer and happy with her life At the beginning she looked like an scared rabbit, so nervous and curtsying to everybody and their mother(even royals of her rank) as if she thought she was less important Real mad Maybe it's a NRF thing? I haven't seen any other princess curtsy to each other.

I don't think that it is a NRF thing, she was just nerovus and she curtsied everybody like Camilla  Roll Eyes But being humble has its rewards I think she is the closest CP to the future queen of UK. And she doesn't have haters like others CPs people dislike her because of her past but I think that her present behaviour is not as questioned as the other CPs. Imo she is much more intelligent than the rest  Wink

I don't think that curtsying to people you shouldn't makes you necessarily humble. It's probably awkward for the other person and a protocolary mistake. How are people supposed to respect someone who doesn't respect themselves? Crap
I'm sure she has haters, but I don't think she is as well known as other princesses to make an impact as big as the others. Also, her official activities are scarce and she doesn't seek the press in anything she does. Imo she is intelligent in how she leads her life, very discreetly, avoiding unnecessary press and criticisim.  It also helps she is the CPss of Norway, in other countries she would be every day in the news with everything she said, she did, she wore... , or the royal family would be required to be more visible, making criticisim unavoidable.

ITA, hanzo1.  MM and Victoria both really seem to have come into their own over the last few years.  They both seem happy and fulfilled in their lives, which is why it's nice to follow them.  They are, by far, my two favorite CPss (which is why I adore this picture.  Could you ever see Mary interacting with any of the other CPss that way?).

Maxima also seems happy and fulfilled, which are the things that make me like her.  But like you, I sometimes find her annoying.  Maybe it's because she's such a bubbly, extrovert all the time.  Sometimes, I wish she'd dial it down just a bit.  Also, I think her husband is a spoiled, ungrateful git, so that takes a bit of the shine off, as well.

Mary is Mary.  No explanation needed here about why I can't stand her.  Mathilde seems lovely, but barely registers for me.  I pity Letizia too much to like or dislike her.  I think she loves her husband and her kids, but Zarzuela has sapped all the life from her.  If she survives "the wait" and becomes queen, it will be interesting to see if she can finally break free of the tight leash the palace has on her.

She is just lucky to be the Norwegian CPss. The interest of the press or public is minimal compared to other more high profiled royals. Do you think she could get away skiing while on sick leave from her official duties or shopping in Italy while cancelling her official trip to the middle east in other countries esp. like UK or Spain ?
She is smarter than Mary since Mary is also a CPss of a small country, could live a life just like MM. However Mary desperately wants to be a star, to be a celebrity. I think Fred would have been a lot happier if Mary kept a low profile like MM.

Well said.
