Friday, September 3 Crown Princess pressed the start button of the symbolic blasting for construction of the New Karolinska hospital.
Before the symbolic explosion took place attended by Crown Princess at a seminar on "Future Health Care".

Speakers at the workshop were, among others, Professor and Director of Administration for the New Karolinska Solna, Lennart Persson, professor Dr. James Stoller responsible for leadership development at the Clevland Clinic, USA, Harriet Wallberg-Henriksson, president of the Karolinska Institute and Sandra Eketorp Sylvan, ST doctors who previously studied at Karolinska Institute.
In December 2015, New Karolinska University Hospital opened.

New Karolinska planned to become a new and top modern university with the mission of highly specialized and specialized medical care, research and training of large scale and high quality.
