What is it with F&M's kids and the licking the windows pose? It seemed kind of funny when Iz did it but when X who is almost 5 does it (esp after his younger sister did it) it looks strange. And how long has it been since poor little Iz has had her hair washed, or since X has washed his face? They both look like dirty little street urchins. Those poor kids always (esp Iz) look neglected. *I'll give F&M the benefit of the doubt and believe that maybe, just maybe these pics were taken at the end of the party and that the kids didn't show up looking like that. I agree Pix! I am tired of the photos of X acting like the Bogal he is. He is almost five and needs to the stop the running-with -wolves behavior. I too can't get it why little Izzy always looks so scruffy. But today, Daddy looks bad as well. I think Fred has aged since this Twin thing. The only one who looks like she has access to running water and in-door toilets is Mary. Can't wait for the spin the Sugars put on this. But I will be lurking as I am the Vinegar Troll! You are so right (and very hilarious too!). F and the kids looked terrible. I agree with you-Fred has aged about 10 years this year. I guess the stress of dealing with Mary and a job that he doesn't seem very prepared for will do that to you.

Marie's belt has writing on it. I know it's a casual event, but, in my opinion, clothing items/accessories below the waist should not be read. Maybe if you're under 16, but especially not as a wife and mother.
But maybe that's just me.
Of course, I also think that wearing the same freaking blouse every week is for five-year-olds, so maybe it isn't so bad.

It seems fine for a b'day party for a kid. It should be a relaxing party.

I don't think the outfit it tacky, just the belt. As for Henrik...he was busy feeling himself up on the beach?

I noticed that the print on Marie's belt spells "ses". Please don't tell me the other part is "prin"........

What made me impression is that marie is the only one, who posed for the photographers, even in the house stairs. what woman has the ability to catch the photographers!

http://msndk.starlounge.c...mp;imagenr=22&page=22You can see here that "ki' proceeds "ses". I had the same feeling as you though.

Thanks for the photos!
It's nice to see Fred being attentive to Izzy in these photos. However, sometimes I get the impression that Fred is more in love with the idea of being a hands-on Dad than actually being one. There are some royal fathers who seem to be genuinely interested in their children (IMO) and I just don't get that vibe off Fred.
Although he has improved recently there have been lots of instances in the past coupled with his numerous sailing "duties" which make me think he's not that interested in being a parent either.
Oh Most Exalted Member, that is a brilliant observation I tend to agree, unfortunately for the little ones

Mary was waving from the car and grinning from ear-to-ear at the photographers, so Marie wasn't the only one

I think just photographers, Barrie.
winx, if Fred were a widower, he would be pretty useless with the kids, but I think he loves and cares for them deeply. But he doesn't seem like one of those men who would notice their grungy daughter or know what to do about it. Girls 101 as you say. I'm glad Izzy got to spend time with Aunties Marie and Alex, and I hope that they casually said something about Izzy's appearance. (Less with Xian's Freckled Gargoyle appearance under the guise of 'boys will be boys'.)
Whenever my hubby is on daddy duty, my girl just looks grungy like Izzy!! I will never doubt his loves for our daughter but guys just don't see it!! It's funny you say this - it reminds me of an expression my mum used when we were young. If we didn't have our shoes polished (we had to clean our school shoes everyday) or our shirts werent' tucked in or something, our mum would say "you look like nobody loves you". Which i guess meant "when you go out dressed like that, it reflects badly on us as parents - as though you're not cared for". is the photo of iz looking sweaty after the party? can we assume she's been running around having fun? remember that cute footage in one of the DRF promo docos where little Iz is out doing somersaults on the trampoline? that was cute. chick

It could also be an R instead of a K. I put the LE T that was visible in another photo together with RISES and then it hit me: LE TEMPS DES CERISES! Not only is there a line of clothing with this saying on it - it is quite a revolutionary statement! Fabulous bit of signalling from our Marie! This is an Yves Montand song that was written during the Paris Commune uprising in the 19th century when the workers revolted over their fat cat lords and masters. How very perfect for egalitarian Denmark that needs to over throw their skinny cat with kittens, Crown Princess Meeeery. to you, Marie!! That's why you were smiling so! Let's leave the last word with Nana Mouskouri (gold star to anyone who gets the reference) singing this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ayYKtriID80

(as soon as the time limit's up). I've been trying to figure out what that belt said. I like the saying but I really don't care for it on a belt.
