I find it quite worrying that she is definately trying to make herself look not pregnant most of the time.......I mean what does that say about her mental state of mind ? I cant speak for everyone here but I know when I was pregnant with my son, I loved looking pregnant and could not wait to show off my bump...
Still, I can understand that it might be too much to have all photographers and papers focusing on your belly and report every change to anyone who wishes to read about it. Although she's not in public that often she might some privacy (yes, I know she loves attention but still, probably she find it annoying that she's not in focus but her kids ). But is it really safe to use things that hides the belly like that?

From what I have read and understood, tight or binding clothing would not be considered good for the fetus(es) because it can constrict blood flow and breathing abilities.

She know's that twins = Bigger. Bigger than when she was pregnant with Iz. With Iz so soon have having X she was bloated, and she must have hated it. Less is more on bump, but not on makeup so it seems.Stretch marks and Tummy tuck will be easier if she does,nt have much of a skin overhang after the twins. These to most women are a normal result in pregnancy and even if we do not like them, well we get on with life... Mary would hate her iconic iron board body marked by childbirth which is why i can,t understand this pregnancy .

I think she is playing this "cat and mouse" game with the media: Of course she is this incredibly beautiful and princessy- woman, more fairy-tale figure than real life human: waif like like a fairy, other-worldly and yet cutting edge modern. And of course you see celebs and those that fill the mags wowing us with their strict dicipline while pregnant: " Ya know, i eat very healthy vegetarian meals my asian chef prepares for me and I do yoga and aishynooga and I feel wonderful" and about twenty minutes after their scheduled c-sec (Such a wonderful experience, all my family was there and we had candles and music) they work the runway for Victoria's secret (Oh the baby is backstage, he is so good, sleeps everywhere and never cries) So the perfect mother weighs only babies weight plus 2 liters of extra blood (can't be helped) at delivery time, bounces back faster than the Ob/GYN from his night shift, the baby is perfectly healthy and after a couple of years of comatoese sleep he is enrolled in sinology for infants classes and preparation courses for "future leaders". All the while the mother looks like a perfectly starved 14 year old. The window for looking like Demi Moore and Claudia Schiffer posing with their babybumps is about 2 days. And that bump can't look big or fat and heavens forbit if it is visible or even detectable from the back side... Anyway, I have to admit that any mother that fails to wear 5" Manolos on her way to the delivery room is completely out of question. (What can be said about those that actually wear Birkenstocks or only socks and their hubbies clothes is not suitable for elite conversation... ) Could this be your best post ever, fairy dear? Perhaps!

I think she's wearing spanx. I don't know if it hurts the babies I think it's SICK that she's trying to look thinner while she's pregnant. As a whole I think it's sick and very disturbing that women these have to be THIN in order to be considered beautiful. Being normal just doesn't work any more - you have to be THIN. It's even more disturbing when more and more women (and men too) are getting over-weight. Everything about food, execise and health become so extreme IMO. Mary is certainly a rotten role model when she's promoting being THIN while she's pregnant.

There is spanx for pregnant ladies, they have a "pouch" for the belly, so she can wear those and be fine. I do not think she is wearing a corset, that would not be good, anything that constricts breathing and intake of oxygen cannot be good for the fetuses!

The belly is there! She looks totally pregnant to me: Of course it's there. The question is why she's trying to look slimmer. Look at the photos from Australia and also the other day at the brain injury event - she's clearly trying to not look pregnant there.

Thrilla, Esther A. thanks f As to the corset and possible harm to the fetuses: I think we are extremely careful today with our pregnancies. (And the lowest child mortality rate in history give us a thumb up) However the human race has endured quite different approaches and survived nethertheless. You don't need to look very far into history to find women binding themselves and their pregnancies to an extent that is hardly imaginable today. (Why would the victorian have the vapors every other moment? Because of shortage of breath of course!!) Children and their mothers survived this ridiculous idea that pregnancies were to be hidden as long as possible. I doubt that some sort of corset or spanx or whatnot could hurt Mary's pregnancy. However I would consider it utterly stupid and ridiculous. We don't have to hide it today, if you rather not be seen as a birthing maschine, than you can indeed stay clear of T-Shirts with either Ultrasound photos, or the much liked: "Careful Baby inside". I actually don't know if Mary strives to not look preggers by using specific clothes: I like her choices so far (as far as Mary's choice can be liked!±!!) but I think her problem is not using "Non pregnancy enhancing clothes" but simply being much tooooo slim for her condition.

IMO Mary is incredibly vain.
She isn't naturally the size she is. She is big-boned like her sister Jane and she clearly works her arse off (literally!) to look the way she does.
and the way Mary is acting/dressing seems to be sending out the message that there is something to "hide".
Although she might just be trying to get a few more column inches out of the press, "Where's the Bump" etc?
Your so right Little Star (your avatars are so great, I esp love the jewelry shots, beautiful!) Aww, thank you Odette! back at ya!
