I'm sure they attack Leonor and Sofía. I've read someone calling Froilán "niñato maleducaco" and Elena is a goddess to them compared to Letizia.

These are sporadic cases, or massive attack like here ?

"niñato maleducaco"  Thinking please translate, thank you

That would be him.  I think his high jinks could have steamed from the fact that his parents were going through martial difficulty at that time.   It's not unusual for kids to act out when things get rough for their parents.  He seems to have mellowed down now that Elena and Jaime or no longer married.

Cristina's boy Juan also kicked their cousin Victoria, daugther of Cristina BDS, that was shown on the TVE special one year after the wedding.

I'm sorry Paula, I didn't know how to exactly translate it and didn't.
I guess spoiled little brat is the closest translation, but to me me "niñato" sounds much harhser than little brat, above all directed to a child(because it's a word usually used for inmature adults). It was not only those words, but the whole post of that person, her/his post was very agressive, like the poster hated Froilán almost as much as Letizia. I've never seen anything like this here.
I went to the first thread in which I found Leonor and Sofía's names: they are called ugly like her mother and her family, fat, no matter how much money their mother spends on their clothes they will look ugly, fat and vulgar like her mother....
This was not the norm, not everybody "attacked" them, but enough of them did. And it looks as if they just really hate their mother so they must dislike their daughters too. I don't think the same can be said about this board.

I've read some harsh posts about Mary here, but most are funny in their dislike of her and when Mary does something they like they admit it.
I don't think Cotilleando tone has anything to do with the tone here. In RD posters aren't always calling Mary a whore in every post about her activities, accusing her of everything that hapens in the DRF or Denmark or other "accusations" that only extreme hatred of a person(and really, how can you hate a person you've never met in RL so much?) and by extension her family could motivate.
I discovered Cotilleando months ago, before having any interest in the current royals. Back then I disliked Letizia, unlike everybody else, I disliked her at first and now I like her Wink,. At the beginning of her marriage I didn't think she was a good option for princess of Asturias, but she has proven me wrong.( I still wish she could change in some things, though) I was looking for information on the SRF jewels and ended up in Cotilleando; even disliking Letizia I thought it was brutal and had no interest in reading regularly, unlike RD Smiley.

I don't think other princesses have that many true fans there maybe except for Maxima (since she is from Argentina). Some posters there simply tried to slam Leti more by building up/praising the other women, very similar to when Jaime Penafiel calling Mary 'a prestigious lawyer from Sydney' LOL   .

This is ridiculous as the famous journalist and  woman with a real career  Laughing Laughing Laughing

Quote
The forum is the source of the many rumors of the book since the publisher already admitted that they were publishing rumors from the internet.

You mean Cotilleando ?  Thinking

So far (If I'm not mistaken) each critical book about Letizia was blocked by the SRF so he had only the Internet where people write the truth, repeat rumors ,all in the name of fun  Wink Banana

What was first, Trine or RoyalDish ?  Whistle

P.S
Who is she ?

No, Letizia had a real career among her generation of journalists in Spain. I'm not comparing her to the most famous ones since they are usually older in their 40s or 50s. Any young journalist who was named AP's best journalist under 30 (Letizia in 2000), hosting news programs,  getting the oversea assignments like she got,  can be said on the top of her profession among her age group.  The TV journalism is very competitive, you need to stand out among hundreds in order to get a job in CNN to host a news program.

On the other hand, Mary was hopping jobs from company to comapy as an account manager (a college graduate can be an account manager), she was a normal office girl with a grey job, that's about it.
I doubt the source of Trine's book was from RD. I have never heard lots of things said in Trine's book. She was very anti-Alex, RD is not.

Is she had rivals ?

CNN+ was then a new station they started 27 January 1999
I don't know when Letizia started a job in CNN+ but in 2000 she moved to TVE where she began her kareer in the same year she was posted to Washington, where she reported the presidential elections  Thinking

Sometimes they are more subtle Paulita, saying what has she done besides spreading her legs, how inmoral her behaviour has been/is...
You should print a book about Letizia, filled with your pictures, enhanced by your photosopping skills, it would be a hit!(and very funny) Jumping

Interesting discussion on RD vs Cotilleado and totaly OT
Each of  the two  boards have their histories and agendas, so IMO, people should just live and let live... Smiley
Anyways, just wondering- do Lettie's fans demand equal opportunity bashing on other princessess on Cotilleado ? Thinking Thinking Thinking
Just curious.

Critic is okay, but hard insults are not so my cup of tea, besides precious Sofia from Sweden and super Charlene.

Mary is okay but weird, I like Leti, Max is not really interesting for me, Victoria is nice (but with a bad side, I bet), etc.

A book like that is just ridiculous. I would like to make rumors about the author and stalk him, just to know how he feels about that  Whistle

I cant hep thinking that the Spaniards demand a lot for their money. That's a plus at least. If our media did the same over here, some people might just wake up. For now they are  smugly resting on their laurels due to the sugary accolades BB  and DR propaganda sound bites that hypnotize the population.

Her rivals were the journalists under 30 in Spain.
She started her CNN+ job in early 1999.  Before CNN+, she worked for Bloomberg Network. The article posted by florecilla on another thread about her among a dozen of journalists interviewing Shimón Peres of Israel when she was working at a private TV station (either CNN or Bloomberg). In the summer of 2000 she was hired by TVE to host the weekly news and work as a correspondent. Although she is new to TVE, she is not new to the news business, what's the issue of her reporting the presidential election in Washington at the end of that year ? She was hired for that kind of job.
